Sonic is a 2023 CHSA gelding (Central Time x Voltaire) who is offered for sale. He shows great promise in the hunter ring with three balanced, floating gaits and a quiet sensible personality. Although young, Sonic has horse show experience participating in the Young Horse Show Series as a yearling and a 2 yr old. His lineage needs no introduction; His sire; Central Time is a young imported stallion by Central Park. He is just beginning his sport career under saddle. His sire, Central Park, scored highly across the board in his stallion performance test, scoring well for rideability, technique, and scope. He won the stallion performance test 2018 with 9.16 and impresses with his brilliant type and his exceedingly supple appearance, especially in his movement which is feather light, but also with an energetic hind end and steady uphill tendency. Central Time was the 2024 North American Stallion Sport Test East Coast Champion Jumper with an overall score of 8.08. In his Dams line; Voltaire was a stallion with tremendous jumping ability and started jumping 1.50m at the age of 8 competing internationally around the world with excellent results at international horse shows around the world, winning the Berlin grand prix and 2nd in the Leeuwarden Grand Prix. Voltaire has made his mark as one the all-time great breeding stallions, ranking regularly in world breeding rankings. At the 1996 Olympic games in Atlanta, Voltaire was the stallion with the most progeny competing.
